The Frechen Ceramics Prize has a tradition spanning more than fifty years. In 2025, it will be awarded for the 20th time. Organized every three years by the Keramion Foundation – Center for Modern and Historical Ceramics, the prize celebrates excellence in contemporary ceramic art. The award ceremony and exhibition take place in the iconic Keramion Museum in Frechen, Germany.

For the 2025 edition (FKP25), more than 380 applications were submitted, from which 20 artists were selected. Their works will be on display until August 31, 2025.

Among the shortlisted pieces are Body Poetry and Last for Long Were Time Never Ends. Both works invite reflection on the rituals and habits embedded in first-world lifestyles—rituals often tied to the constant concern for physical appearance and social status.
