Porcelain and glass jars
Installation dimensions: Approximately 10.5 x 200 x 8 cm
The proposal consists of an installation divided into three parts. The composition in the first group of objects has been inspired by marketing strategies similar to those of candy stores. A blurred self-portrait appears within blister packs, subtly encapsulated and manipulated. Two glass bottles contain differently shaped pills, unseparated by colour, evoking uniformity and societal expectations.

The evolution of the installation and the chosen materials try to represent an everyday environment in which the main objective is to find our place within society and live in harmony. The use of moulds refers to the norms into which we must fit and, parallel, to the overproduction surrounding us. Porcelain replaces less durable materials and becomes a testimony of traditions and customs, a task accomplished for centuries. Creating capsules of daily life is always seducing me because it could serve as a learning tool for future generations and encourage evolution. We can not live forever, and it would not be sustainable either. Nevertheless, there will be a part of us that will last for a long, where time, as a human invention, has no end.
